To celebrate the 2025 NWSL Championship in San Jose, Skylark helped the league launch a bold, unforgettable campaign: a floating soccer pitch beneath the Golden Gate Bridge.

Skylark partnered with the National Women’s Soccer League to bring a bold idea to life: a floating soccer pitch on the San Francisco Bay to kick off Championship Week.

From ideation to execution, Skylark supported the NWSL in transforming a barge into a fully operational soccer field beneath the Golden Gate Bridge. The activation served as a striking visual anchor for the league’s biggest week of the year and showcased the NWSL’s momentum on a national stage.

A Floating Spectacle with Real Results

The floating pitch helped kick off a record-setting Championship Week for the league. CBS delivered live coverage from the pitch, and CBS Mornings returned for a second straight year with a live broadcast from PayPal Park. The activation was amplified across social and press channels, helping generate massive reach and attention.

A Moment That Floated Above the Rest

Skylark was proud to support the league on this boundary-pushing activation. The floating pitch captured the imagination of fans and media alike, serving as a striking symbol of what’s possible in women’s sports.

Spotlighting the Next Generation with e.l.f. Glow for Glory

As part of its new multi-year partnership with the NWSL, e.l.f. hosted a live activation of the Glow for Glory Contest on the floating pitch. The open tryout series is part of e.l.f.’s broader mission to level the playing field for women in sports by creating opportunities for aspiring athletes to shine.

The event brought together players, influencers, and media for a fun and high-energy soccer skills competition on the barge, offering visibility, access, and inspiration to the next generation of soccer players. The Glow for Glory campaign extended across social and digital, generating strong traction through a coordinated rollout with Footballco, INDIVISA, and the NWSL.
